This might well be my favorite of the series... Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington are delightful and a seemingly incompatible match. I loved learning more about Penelope, not just the snatches of the Wallflower at each Season's balls or Eloise's friend, but about Penelope, herself.We also get much more insight into Colin, and while he's always been an easy-going, friendly, likeable guy, I had him pegged as the Ultimate Bachelor -- mostly because he didn't stay in Town often enough to bother meeting or courting any of the eligible ladies of the Season.I loved the gentle way that Colin and Penelope truly discover that their friendship is something more. And I very much enjoyed the "something" that threatened to separate them! What a revelation! So unexpected... and not the person behind it all that I thought!
